POP Email
POP stands for Post Office Protocol and this type of email was developed long ago before we started using multiple devices. This protocol is still very reliable but the major thing you have to know is emails do not sync across devices. When an email is downloaded to you phone, tablet, or computer it is deleted from the server and therefore will not show up on any other device. We have 2 POP plans to choose from, Personal and Business. The Personal plan comes with 1 email box and 1GB of storage and the Business plan comes with up to 5 email boxes and 2GB of storage shared between them.
IMAP Email
IMAP stands for Internet Message Access Protocol and leaves a copy of your email on the email server so that multiple devices can pull down their own copies. IMAP also allows you to synchronize your email on those devices so if you read it on your phone and go to your computer later, it will already be marked as read. Similarly, if you delete the email from one device and then go another it will not show up any longer on the 2nd device either. Our IMAP plan is called Unlimited Business and starts with a package of up to 5 email boxes with unlimited storage and you can add additional boxes as needed.
